2009 International Brescia Tournament Integral Open 9 rounds and Festival 5 rounds with ELO range subdivision.

Rules
For rules, promotions and rating variations the competition follows the italian RTF (Regolamento Tecnico Federale) and of the FIDE handbook.
Score
For the standings the following scoring system will be applied:

Pairings
Pairing system: Swiss (LIM)
Tie-breaker rules: Bucholz FIDE Total + ARO.
There will be 3 accelerated rounds only for the Integral Open 9 rounds.
Time control
| Integral Open 9 rounds | 90 minutes for 40 moves + 30 minutes for finishing + 30 seconds increment (Fischer) from the first move. |
| Festival A-B-C 5 rounds | 90 minutes + 30 seconds increment (Fischer) for the whole game. |

Entry fees
Integral Open 9 rounds: € 60*Over 60 and FM: € 50*
Women and U18: € 40*
No entry fee for GM, WGM, IM, WIM.
Festival A, B, C 5 rounds: € 35**
Over 60 and FM: € 30**
Women and U18: € 20**

No entry fee for GM, WGM, IM, WIM.
(*) For the Integral Open 9 rounds the stated entry fee amount is for advanced payment with bank transfer. Payment of the entry fee done at the tournament will require an extra payment of € 10.
(**) For the 5 rounds festival the stated entry fee amount is for advanced payment with bank transfer. Payment of the entry fee done at the tournament will require and extra payment of € 5.
Players entering the Integral Open 9 rounds cannot be accepted at the Festival A-B-C 5 rounds.
Players not present in the tournament room at the begin of a tournament will be excluded from the first round even if they already paid the entry fee.
PUNTO ESCLAMATIVO FOR THE OTHERS
At the International Chess Tournament of Brescia 2009 "Punto Esclamativo for the others" will collect a voluntary donation in favor of chess players of Abruzzo: for every player that will donate 5€ extra at the registration Punto Esclamativo will donate the same amount. The collected total will be given to the Abruzzo Chess Committee of the Italian Chess Federation. |

The registration for the tournament implies the unconditioned and total acceptance of everything in this announcement.
